The Holy Orthodox Bible - Volume II -

After the successfull release of the Holy Orthodox Bible
Vol. I,
The Pentateuch (the first five books of the Bible)
we find an extensive historical account of the many
adventures encountered by the nation of Israel, in the books of Jesus son of Naue, Judges, Ruth and 1st Kingdoms. Jesus son of Naue (sometimes called Joshua) details God's faithful keeping of His promise to deliver His people into the land of Canaan.

Judges describes a time when Israel had fallen away from God's covenant, began worshipping false gods and became a law unto themselves. Ruth describes the
tender story of a moabite woman whose faith found favor with the Lord and acceptance among His people.
It presents a timeless model for God's redemption.

Finally, 1st Kingdoms tells the story of the early years of the Kingdom of Israel, and, in particular, the story of King David and his relationship with Almighty God.
